What the client closet actually is
The client closet is a curated collection of maternity gowns and accessories kept right here in the studio, chosen over more than ten years of styling sessions for real women with real bodies. You do not need to order a gown online, guess at a size, or hope something photographs the way it looked on a model. You simply arrive, and the wardrobe is waiting for you.
Gowns made for this season of your body
Maternity gowns are their own art form. They are cut to celebrate your belly rather than hide it — fabrics that drape and flow, silhouettes that flatter you exactly as you are in this moment. Whether you are carrying high, low, or somewhere in between, there is a gown in the closet that will make you feel like the magazine cover you deserve to be.
How we choose yours together
This is not a rack you are left to sort through alone. We select your gown together, considering your skin tone, your hair, the set or location we are shooting on, and — most importantly — how each piece makes you feel when you put it on. Think of me as your photographer and personal stylist in one. My favorite moment of any session is watching a mama see herself in the mirror and stand a little taller.
Pairing gowns with sets
Every gown is chosen with its backdrop in mind. A rich jewel tone against a moody studio set tells one story; soft, airy fabric in golden outdoor light tells another. Because sessions can be photographed in-studio, on location, or even at a destination, the closet gives us the range to build each look intentionally rather than leaving it to chance.
How many looks will you wear?
That depends on the experience you choose. Our maternity packages range from a single set with one couture client-closet piece up to five sets with five closet pieces, and details like the Angel Wings are included in the upper tiers. What to plan on your end
Very little — that is the point. Hair and makeup are not included, so plan to arrive camera-ready in whatever makes you feel most beautiful. Beyond that, bring yourself and that beautiful belly. The gowns, the accessories, the sets, and the styling are all handled.
When to book so the closet is ready for you
Maternity sessions are best booked in your second trimester, so we have time to plan your looks and photograph you at that beautiful, glowing stage. If you are expecting, now is the moment to reach out — your gown is already hanging in the closet, waiting to meet you.
